October Snow Storm Predicted 13 Months in Advance
Based on history I joking said another massive storm would hit between 10/19 and 10/27. How was I to know that I was going to be just three days off on my prediction? The third most devastating storm in history of NH would hit on 10/30. Nearly 250,000 people left without power.
Yes this is no Joke. I predicted this event 13 months in advance. I tell you, when I go to Disney bad things happen. I’d make my next Disney trip in the summer but then a hurricane would hit.
Now if you think I am kidding check out the following:

State of New Hampshire Posts Weather Advisory for October 2011
In an unprecedented move the State of
The advisory was posted because of a recent report that said the Cousin Mickey Doesn’t Talk About is returning to Disney World during that time. History has proven that anytime the Cousin Mickey Doesn’t Talk About goes to Disney World, awful weather hits the state.
In late November, early December 2008 CMDTA went to Disney World and the worst ice storm in the history of the state slammed into NH. Many people were without power for weeks. In February 2010 CMDTA went to Disney World and the worst ice storm in the history of the state hit the day after he left. Again some people were without power for weeks and the state was crippled.
This warning is not to be taken lightly. In December of 2009, a full three months in advance, the citizens of NH were warned that awful weather was coming. This warning turned out to be absolutely true.

Unofficially Banned From Disney World
The unprecedented move is in response to recent weather related events.
In 2008 CMDTA traveled to Disney World. A few days after he left the most devastating ice storm in NH history struck leaving some without power for nearly two weeks.
In February 2010, just hours after CMDTA left the ground, a massive nor' easter slammed into the North East leaving many without power for nearly a week.
Many are complaining that the authorities didn't take the warnings seriously. Months before CMDTA left authorities were warned that poor weather was possible. (see Awful Weather Predicted for the First Week in March)
When questioned as to why they did not take the warnings seriously, spokesman for the State of NH, a talking jar of maple syrup responded, "We are taking the warnings seriously now. We never thought one person visiting Disney World could cause so much chaos. We know better now."

When You're Ten Days Out
Why would you check the local weather first? Because booking any airfare in the winter is a gamble. You cross your fingers and hope a storm doesn't hit the day you fly out. Thankfully I've never had a storm hit the day I've had to fly out. My wife however has.
What do you do if a big storm is going to hit the day you are trying to fly out? You gamble. To put it simply you book another flight for the day before and book a cheap hotel at your destination. This is a gamble because if the weather isn't bad enought to cancel you get stuck paying for two flights. Granted you only do this for slam dunk storms. Normal storms you keep your fingers crossed and hang out at the airport.
You might wonder why you wouldn't just buy travel insurance. I do buy travel insurance but I'd rather enjoy my vacation than get reimbursed for lost days. That's an awful way to start your vacation.

Awful Weather Predicted for the First Week in March
Although months away many meteorologists are predicting a massive storm to hit the Orland are starting around March 4th 2010. The storm is expected to last a specific period of time.
“Based on historical data we are almost 100% sure a major storm will hit the area. The historical data being the fact that bad weather follows Mike Scopa around. It seems like every time he shows up a major storm hits the area. We also the storm will end when Mr. Scopa leaves the area,” stated head forecaster for Disney World, Mayor of Main Street USA.
“We also have some other concerns. In first week of December 2008 a massive ice storm hit the
Both New England and
However some feel that there is reason to hope everything will be ok. Professor Bunsen Honeydew explained “Both Mr. Scopa and The Cousin Mickey Doesn’t Talk About live in NH. The awful weather seems to hit when only one of them leaves the area. When both are leaving and heading to the same destination within a week of each other I feel the weather will remain stable. I have nothing to base this on but I’m a professor so I must be right.”
An unnamed weather expert explained why he feels Professor Honeydew is sorely mistaken. “Yes they both live in NH but you have to remember what NH is known for. It’s called the granite state. All that Granite neutralizes the affect of those two men. If there was no granite NH would implode. By allowing both of them to go to
Weather you agree with Professor Honeydew or the crazy weather guy you’d best be prepared for anything to happen the first week of March in Disney World. The neutral forecasters are saying the weather will be between 45 and 85 with a 50% chance of clouds and a 50% chance of rain everyday.
