Due to it's location in the Mississippi Delta, New Orleans can experience some extremely thick fog, at times. This was the case when our ship was arriving, early in the morning.
The fog level in this photo is low compared to what it was just a few minutes earlier. The fog was also low in elevation. The tops of some of the buildings were above the fog.
